Smith manufactures a complete line of valves in full compliance to NACE Standard MR-01-75 and MR-0103. All Body/Bonnet, Packing and Gasket and Bolting materials acceptable for sour gas service are available. However, NACE valves have special limitations on bolt and trim materials to ensure their resistance to corrosion by sulfides (“sour gas”) found in processing crude oil.
